St Lukes Hospice Outdoor Office Pod

WE have recently installed the first of 2 no. pods for St Lukes Hospice in Sheffield.

St Lukes were looking for a large outdoor meeting pod that was capable of standing up to the weather whilst still providing a warm and inviting environment. They were hoping to find a product that wouldn't need extensive groundwork's and foundations but still make a contemporary addition to their beautiful gardens.

The office pod 7.1 series was ideal for this environment as it can be installed using ground screws and foot plates rather than having to allow for expensive and inflexible hard standing areas. It also comes with a 10 year external structural guarantee and 5 year guarantee on the glazing. Although the guarantee of the unit is 10 years for the structure the life expectancy of the unit is 35+ years.  The unit generally feels extremely well engineered and is spacious enough to give a generous space for 6 person meetings and could even be used for up to 10 people if occupants didn't mind a slightly more "snug" environment.

This unit comes with its own electrical distribution board, power sockets, LED lighting and ventilation as standard. This unit was also supplied with heating. The office pod units achieve excellent levels of sound insulation (Dw = 40 dB & Dw+NR = 75).
