Our client had a seating requirement for their atrium areas and wanted to resolve the issue in a sustainable way. They also had a challenging lead time in order to get product on site before the start of term. They opted for Morph benches from Morph Bricks which have been built out of recycled ABS plastic bricks. 117 no. 1.5m x 45cm benches were supplied that could then be arranged to match the curve of the atrium space.

The interiors were riveted to prevent tampering with the benches once installed and give extra longevity to the design but the rivets are removable as we wanted to keep future recycling and the circular economy as a priority in specification. At end of life Morph can collect the benches for free and either reuse the bricks or regrind the bricks and remould into new bricks, creating a truly circular economy.  

The benches were built and delivered in just over a month, well n time for the start of term.
