centre:mk Deer Walk

In 2017, centre:mk shopping area in Milton Keynes opened its refurbished Deer Walk, featuring world-class facilities and setting a new benchmark for customer service pause points. 

Designed to give shoppers the VIP treatment, the environment is generous with luxurious finishes, including powder room areas with hairdryers for the ladies, baby-changing facilities with family rooms and interactive play areas.

The Deer Walk is made up of a high-end lounge area with luxurious seating, a baby and mother area and a multi-religious contemplation room. Forming part of a £60 million investment programme, the Deer Walk certainly has gone some way to re-imagine the iconic standing of centre:mk as the regional retail destination. The services offered in the lounge include shop and drop, click and collect with ‘try it on’ changing room, contemplation room and of course a relaxing lounge area with luxurious seating and soft lighting. 

Designed by Rawls with products supplied by Working Environments Furniture, the revitalised Deer Walk reflects centre:mk’s three year vision which includes the completed £10m refurbishment of the award-winning Sunset Walk.

The product highlights from the Deer Walk include Knoll Platner chairs, coffee tables and  Barcelona Couches, Arper Loop sofas, Pix ottomans and Colina armchairs, and the Modus Bloom tables. The colour palette of these products endlessly compliment one another and the new stone flooring and walls to create a stylish and consistent feel to the space. A year and a half on from the installation and the products and design are still as fresh and stylish as ever.
