McDonald Institute for Archaeological Research
The McDonald Institute for Archaeological Research serves as an interdisciplinary hub aiming to provide a shared intellectual home for archaeologists at Cambridge. Their facility offers a programme of seminars, workshops, conferences as well as laboratory space for a wide range of archaeological research.
The project was part of a refurbishment of their existing conference, reception and café facilities. Working Environments worked alongside award-winning architects Freeland Rees Roberts assisting in the furniture specification and consultation process. The final product selection was a collection of products from Casala. The Curvy multi-purpose chair was used in the conference room, with the Cobra chair, Lacrosse table and Parker chair used in the café area.
