Slow Chair & Ottoman
Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec created the Slow Chair & Ottoman for Vitra. It stretches a strong, shaped knit over a robust metal frame, like a fitted stocking. Thanks to the knit sling cover, the Slow Chair combines comfort with ergonomics. This is further enhanced by the Slow Chair's thin seat and back cushions. The translucent sling cover replaces the thick cushions of traditional armchairs. This results in a design that is lightweight, yet generously proportioned. The restrained appearance of the Slow Chair is just as appealing in the reception area as it is in the executive office. The Slow Chair and Ottoman offer unrestrained seating comfort.
