8000 Chair and Stool

The 8000 series  by Rud Thygesen & Johnny Sørensen is based on a quite unique production technology - a patented joint without using tenons, screws or dowels, making the furniture incredibly strong and at the same time very supple despite the low weight of the furniture.  All the units are stackable making this an extremely practical range. The seat can be slatted or non-slatted wood with transparent lacquer or painted black, linoleum or laminate, black PUR seat or upholstered. The upholstered version can be delivered with an easily removable and exchangeable seat top.  The frame is in laminated beech with transparent lacquer or with surfaces lacquered in black or white.
